"My Resume"

My strongest authorial ticket, is I have a bodaciously varied group of friends, acquaintances and enemiesI've known: Chess players, gamblers, pool players, mathematicians, visionaries, biologists, tobacco blender, warehousemen, comptometer operator, naturalists, burglers, drug addicts, sex offender,  phrenologist, airplane pilots, ship and boat pilots, packers, postal clerks, pounders, homeless people, Presto-Pride pots and pans salespeople, bus boy, radio announcers, professors, scholars, fishermen, cannery workers, catamites, catatontic, catamounts ('nice kitty,' pat-pat), whores, B-girls, postmen, U.S. Senators, Congressman, garbage collectors, State Representatives, reporters, oil field workers, fishery technicians, phone solicitors, machinists, sugar workers, trapper, dishwashers, hunters, paper boys, editors, newspaper vendor, dentists, physicians of diverse specialties, dental hygenicist, go-go girls, Go-bum, bartenders, plumbers, school administrators, forklift operators, speedometer calibrator, key punch operator, taxi drivers, hobos, CCC veteran, office workers of many specialties, teachers, writers, poets, painters, card cheats, electricians, telephone workers, cross dressing anesthesiologist, telegraphers, psychologists, ravioli maker, psychiatrists, nutritionists, traveling water salesman, pipe welders, linotype operator, gandydancers, longshoremen, waitresses, cooks, welfare cheats, lunatics (confined and/or free), chef, deep sea diver, cops and one murderer.

In addition to people I've known, who have known me, or stuff in between are the famous people I've "laid eyes on" (say within a couple of arm-lengths, and not in performance) or those I've actually had discussions with (these will be italicized).  This is my most cheesy section on my website, and really the least busy, because I have not met, nor seen close-up,  that many famous people. But, what the heck, it's my website.   I have talked with or seen up close & personal (in no special chronological order) : Hardy Kruger, Harry S. Truman, Ginger Rogers, Governor Knight (CA), Harry Bridges, Art Linkletter, Bobby Fisher, Efrim Zimbalist Jr.,  Roy Rogers, Red Skelton, Jack Kerouac, Casper Weinberger,  Gregor Piatagorsky,  James Michner, Ralph Nader, Buckminster Fuller, Jayne Mansfield, Samuel Rechevsky, Sterling Hayden, The King and Queen of Nepal ('68),  Hopalong Cassidy, Charlton Heston, Mary McCarthy, Edward Albee,  Steven King, Buddy Baer,
